AGRECOVERY SERVICES RESUME WITH SOME PRECAUTIONS

As New Zealand is in Alert Level 2 of the government’s response to COVID-19 from 14 May, recycling at sites around the country can resume, as well as on-farm collections and chemical recovery operations.

Sites are accepting containers

Our sites are accepting agrichemical containers, but some preparation is needed before you drop them off. This includes contacting the site, as well as following some extra precautions.

Make sure you read our guidance on dropping off containers to sites during Alert Level 2.

Keep triple-rinsing containers

Make sure you are triple-rinsing containers correctly, see:

On-farm collections

Call us for an on-farm collection if you have:

  • four or more empty drums over 60 litres size; or
  • 300 or more agrichemical containers, from participating brands

Your health is of the utmost importance to us, and we all need to ensure any pick-ups are contactless. Our driver will have Personal Protective Equipment and will log details of the collection.

We’re here to help

Questions about farm recycling can be directed to info@agrecovery.org.nz or via our 0800 number (0800 247 326).

Thanks for your patience, we’re excited to be recycling again and clearing more waste from our rural communities.
