Where does it all go?
Agrecovery aims to recycle or dispose of product within New Zealand as far as possible.
Containers
Containers are recycled right here in New Zealand into safe end uses, predominantly underground electrical cable cover.
Drums
Large drums and IBCs are either:
> Returned to brand owners for re-use; or
> Delivered to our recycling partners where they are reconditioned or shredded for recycling (depending on condition).
Agrichemicals
Agrecovery uses qualified chemical contractors for the collection and disposal of your unwanted agrichemicals. Agrichemicals are disposed as appropriate according to New Zealand regulations. Depending on the class of agrichemical, these are either disposed of in New Zealand or in France in special high temperature incineration plants.
Small Bags
LDPE and Woven PP bags are exported offshore and recycled as pellets for resale into the circular economy.
