RECYCLING PILOT
IN HURUNUI
Farmers and growers in the Hurunui District can recycle agri-plastics for free as part of a new pilot running between 19 February to 13 March 2025.
New Zealand’s sustainable solution for the recycling of farm plastics such as containers, drums, IBCs and small seed, feed and fertiliser bags.
Our recycling network includes over 160 fixed sites nationwide, and on-farm collections for large items or large quantities of containers. The collected plastic is made into re-usable products such as underground cable cover and building materials.
We also safely dispose of unwanted agrichemicals.
Don’t burn or dump containers – it’s free to recycle them!
