Plant Containers Trial

Agrecovery is leading the development of a national recycling scheme for plastic plant pots and plastic plant trays, in collaboration with NZPPI and key industry members. Trialling the collection of these plant containers is set to launch in the coming months.

Plant container products in scope:

The trial will include the collection of the following products:

• Plastic plant pots
• Plastic plant trays

Plant container products out of scope:

The trial will not collect:

• Plastic plant identification labels
• Plastic plant bags
• Clay pots
